Hi, my name is Tammy King and I'm an award winning singer songwriter turned voice actor!

I studied Popular Music at college and university so I am no stranger to the microphone. In 2020, the pandemic put my live performances on hold so I began looking at other ways of keeping my creativity and voice active. As a natural born storyteller, I started volunteering for a local radio station as well as providing character voices for my husband's online comic book. I loved the versatility of voice work so much that I began investing in a home studio and training. Being able to combine my talents of voice acting, singing and songwriting has helped me sustain the career I have today.

I have trained with the best in the business including Leonie Schliesing, Richard Reed, Sarah Nightingale, Shaun Mendum, Tanya Rich and Thomas Mitchells. 

 

I have worked across multiple areas of the industry including commercials, corporate, radio, games and audio dramas. I have a professional home studio available for remote and live directed sessions. If you'd prefer an in person session, I am Birmingham, Manchester and London accessible. ​​

I'm best known for my natural tone which delivers warm, friendly and sincere reads. But don't be fooled by that smiling face! Throw me a dynamic character and you'll hear versatility. One of my favourite things to hear as a performer is when people say, "Is that really you?" ​
